Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all! The welding process creates a small process that never touches your skin. The jewelry is fitted first and only the jump rings are welded.
-
Permanent simply means your jewelry doesn’t have a clasp. You can wear it continuously, but it can be removed any time by carefully cutting the jump ring with scissors or jewelry cutters.
-
Yes. Sterling silver and gold-filled jewelry are designed for everyday wear. As with any jewelry, proper care will help keep your piece looking its best.
-
Save your chain! If possible, bring the original piece back with you. Repairs and rewelds can be evaluated based on the condition of the chain. Replacement may be necessary if the chain itself is damaged or lost.
-
Sterling silver can naturally tarnish over time depending on your skin chemistry, environment, and exposure to products. It can usually be restored with proper polishing and cleaning.
-
Gold-filled jewelry has substantial layer of real gold bonded to a base metal. It’s much more durable than gold plating and is designed for long term wear.
